Hello, my name is Amy Alexander! I serve and spread the gospel in Italy, with a ministry called 'Into the Wilderness.' I truly believe that God wants to revive the Gospel and build up a house for His Spirit and revelation again in Italy. He is building up a nation of His lovers who glorify Him through their passion, boldness, creativity, brilliance and love for one another. With 'Into the Wilderness,' we focus on mentoring and discipling Italians through outdoor adventures such as rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding, backpacking, canyoning, and more. As someone who sees, knows, and understands the Creator deeply through the observation and exploration of the outdoors, this form of ministry not only speaks to me deeply, but is a brilliant way God is ministering to the Italian people. We see breakthrough in the transformation of hearts, breaking bondages of fear, and revealing His heart for each individual. God is found in creation, and He intended to be found through what He made. I have the honor of leading outdoor excursions where students are able to do exactly that. As we are removed from daily distractions, noise, and comforts, we are able to seek the Lord and hear Him, learn experientially, conquer fears, and experience the transformation of the Holy Spirit.
