Since 2017, I've served in suburban Tokyo, Japan as an English conversation teacher at a local Japanese churches and worked with Chi Alpha Japan campus ministry. Besides providing some secondary income for the local churches, I connect with college students, families, and build relationships with the local community. These relationships are the gateways for preaching the gospel and helping students know the love, forgiveness, and salvation of Jesus Christ! --- About Me --- My love of different cultures and languages led me to pursue a degree and career in International Business and Marketing. However, God had different plans for my life. Towards the end of my studies in 2012, I joined a small company owned by a local pastors’ wife and began tutoring international students and their families in English. As an ESL tutor, I began developing relationships with Japanese mothers and their children. Though I had previously been interested in Japanese music and animation, God began to stir my heart on a deeper level for the Japanese people through these relationships. While business grew each year and I had the chance to make many wonderful friends, I knew there was something more. After having the opportunity to connect with a missionary on the field, In 2017 I made the decision to answer the call to missions in Japan. Since then I've been partnering with local Japanese churches, building relationships, doing outreaches, and serving Japanese families and the youth.
